Partnerships and Missions

Jones Creek Baptist Church is part of the Gulf Coast Baptist Association, the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. That means we are part of local, state-wide, nation-wide, and international missions.

Our church is involved with several mission opportunities right in our immediate area, such as:

Pregnancy Help Center

The PHC is a place where lives are literally being saved as women facing a crisis pregnancy can choose life for their baby, and often, real life for themselves. For more information about how you can help, call 297-3622.

Prison Ministry

The Clemens unit of TDCJ is literally four minutes from our front door. There is an ongoing need for volunteers, who help impact men looking for real change in their lives. One important ministry is the Young Adult Academy that uses material from Prison Fellowship. For more information, talk to Bro. Brent or call the unit chaplain at 798-2188.

Stephen F. Austin STEM Academy

There is a need for volunteers to help students or help in other ways. For more information or to volunteer, go to the Brazosport Independent School District website.

Texas Port Ministry

“Shipping the Good News around the world” expresses the goal of TPM. You can be involved in international missions without leaving the comfort of the Brazosport area. There are many ways to serve: van driving, visiting ships, dispatching, furnishing Monday Meals, praying, etc. For more information, you can call TPM at 233-5641, or talk to Bro. Brent.
